In 2018, on the initiative of Ekaterina Nikulnikova (Deputy of the Duma of the Angarsk city district), the Ermak women's hockey team was organized. Up to this point, Angarsk had never had a women's ice hockey team.
Since 2018, the team has been actively developing. The training of the women's team takes place at the Ermak ice arena. Also, girls from the age of 8 are being recruited to the ice hockey section.
The first coach of the team is Bazhenov Pavel Evgenievich.
In 2019, the team applied for the LZHH Tournament among amateur women's teams.
