Housing and communal services "Sobol" was founded in August 2014 by coaches Evgenia Zheludkova and Tatiana Levkovskaya. The team was based on former pupils of the Youth Sports School "Russia", as well as former players from bandy.

For the first time, Sobol took part in the Women's Hockey League from its very foundation and in the first season showed a good result for itself: 4th place in the group.

The training path for the girls of the Sobol Community Complex is incredibly difficult, since in Irkutsk there is only one ice skating rink and the demand for it is enormous. So the girls have to get in shape in the gym and in "off-ice" workouts. The more difficult the path to victory, the more valuable it is.
