The SIBERIAN HUSKIES Women's Hockey Club was established on February 1, 2016.

Now the team is based at the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Novosibirsk City Hall of the MBU "Sports City" Acting Director Evgeny Altukhov.

The idea of creating a team belongs to Marina Nikolaevna Isaeva and the players who are currently in the team. Pavel Petrovich became the first coach of the team. The decision on the team name, logo and uniform was made jointly with the coach and the team players. The team trains girls of different ages and different levels of hockey training. Everyone is welcome. Separate training sessions have been organized for girls under the age of 14 and girls aged 5-13 are actively being recruited. Now girls train separately from boys in a group of their own age three times a week.

The senior players of the team regularly take part in the Women's Hockey League tournament and various other hockey tournaments among women's and men's teams.
