"Okrylennye Hockey" St. Petersburg 2024
🌟Chelyadinov Roman - "Dynamite"🌟 get to know him🤗
Hockey biography – why hockey? How long? What achievements?
🏒 This is the best game on the planet, in my opinion! It combines everything. I’ve been playing since I was three, but I took a break from 11 to 14. Then a coach from the Golden Puck found me at the rink and brought me back, but two months later they told me to go back to sports school because there was nothing for me there. So, I went. I tried to make it to the junior team and later to the higher league in Klin TITAN.
Now I play in the Media League for X17 (HA from Kharlamov). Before that, I played for two seasons for the Star of Russia.
Was there a funny or interesting story from your hockey career you’d like to share?
🏒 There were many situations in my career, but when I realized I wasn’t going to make it anywhere, I joined the army. Later, I had health issues, and after surgery, I started having severe panic attacks due to sports. I would run off the ice in skates and go home. Then I had intense attacks and thought I was dying. Eventually, after two years, I came back. I gradually adapted; at first, I just wore my gear at home to get used to it, then I sat in the locker room and added five minutes of ice time at a time. When I was fully adjusted and realized everything was okay, I started playing again. The issue was improper anesthesia.
Which match in the "Okrylennye Hockey" tournament stood out the most? Why?
🏒 All the matches were neck-and-neck, but I don’t remember them. There were too many shot bars in St. Petersburg. We didn’t plan on winning, but as they say, those who don’t drink don’t play.
Was the award at the tournament expected?
🏒 I played, played, and ended up at your tournament. We play for the game itself, whether we win or lose doesn’t matter. I always play to win, but getting a medal and all that isn’t important. The essence is in the game. I play for it.
