Hockey biography – why hockey? How long? What achievements?
🏒 It all started on a cold Siberian winter when little 5-year-old Sasha begged his parents to go to a football field that was converted into a rink for the winter. After the first time, there was another, and another. After two weeks of nonstop visits to the rink, a man came up to my parents and said, "The boy has talent, take him to Novokuznetsk." And that's when my hockey journey began.

How was your playing position chosen?
🏒 It’s simple, by nature, I’m more about destruction than protection.

Was there a funny or interesting story from your hockey career you’d like to share?
🏒 When you're in hockey, every day is interesting and in some way amusing. But I'll share the very first one: after my first training, I couldn’t say anything except "Well, I liked it" for two days.

Which match in the "Okrylennye Hockey" tournament stood out the most? Why?
🏒 I liked the first match the most because it was a beautiful day before the game, and on top of that, it had been a long time since I had a worthy sports experience.

Was the award at the tournament expected?
🏒 Honestly, I didn’t even think there would be awards. I just went out to play and tried to genuinely enjoy it.

Is there another sport you'd pursue if not hockey? And why?
🏒 Another option was Greco-Roman wrestling, but they didn’t take me because of my small size.
