When and how did your hockey career begin?
🏒 I could say it started from birth, hahaha.
My dad put me on skates when I was three years old. By the time I was five, he brought me to a hockey team.
My mom wanted to sign me up for figure skating and asked my dad to take me to practice. But instead of going there, my dad and I just went for a walk. After the walk, he bribed me with ice cream and asked me to tell my mom that I didn’t like figure skating and wanted to play hockey instead.
That’s how, quite by accident, I ended up in this sport… and it turned out I really do love hockey!

How did you choose your playing position?
🏒 I really like being constantly involved in the game and acting as the link between players.
Playing as a center gives me a sense of freedom and an incredible rush of excitement—along with, of course, extreme exhaustion!

Is there a funny or interesting story from your hockey career that you’d like to share? :)
🏒 Oh, since I’ve been playing hockey since childhood, there are so many stories! It’s hard to pick just one.

What hobbies do you have besides hockey?
🏒 Between studying and working, there’s not much time for hobbies. But my favorites are definitely hockey, sleeping, music, playing the piano, drawing, and reading books.
And whenever I have free time, I love playing all kinds of sports.

Was the tournament award expected?
🏒 I think yes, more than no. Our team is strong, and from the very beginning, I was determined to win. I was confident that one of the prize places would definitely be ours.

Do you have a hockey dream? If so, what is it?
🏒 Of course! Right now, I even have two dreams.
I really want to skate on Lake Baikal with my partner, and someday organize a hockey match where only my family members participate. Since my family is big, we’d even be able to play a full 5-on-5 game.
